ZOLA STAYING PUT
West Ham says they remain confident Gianfranco Zola will be their manager next season, despite continued links to Chelsea.Reports had suggested that the new deals that Zola and assistant Steve Clarke signed have a clause which allows them to move to Stamford Bridge, should Chelsea make an approach. But the Hammers boss has denied those claims and has indicated that he is happy to continue his role at Upton Park, which he describes as his 'exciting project'.The former Chelsea and Napoli star said recently: "This club have been very good to me and I want to give the best of me back to them."Zola's hopes of qualifying for Europe are know hanging by a thread, with Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool leaving them two points behind seventh placed Fulham with just two games left.
